4l60e 3/4 clutch pack

I am trying to see if replacing just the clutch pack is possible and it will work right. I am not looking for people telling me to just rebuild the whole thing as I don't have to money to do it.

If I can just replace those clutches and steels, what else should I look for to replace?

You can replace whatever you want. While it is apart it would make sense to see how everything else is doing and address it. You should replace the 3-4 clutch pack with an upgrade such as a Borg Warner Hi-Energy 8 clutch setup. This will handle more torque and horsepower. Add a Corvette servo if you do not already have one, as this will help with improve the 2-3 shift and help the 3-4 clutch pack live longer. Depending on how you drive, how many miles on this unit, this is the minimum of what you should do here while it is apart.
