4l60e in 1993

i saw someone on here advertised you can put a 4l60e with a harness for like 150 bucks is this possible if so i have the tranny built waiting for me. anyone know of any info on this? thanks thomas

The 1993 ECM has no provisions/programming to operate the 4L60E.

I'm confused about why you'd want to put a 4L60E in a '93. They came with 700's (4L60's). Both transmissions are equal in strength. The only major difference is the 700 is still governor/hydraulically shifted, whereas the 4L60E is electronically shifted.

well i got the 4l60e built with stall ready to go out of another i have the stock tranny in this 93 with 130,000.
