Ok. I spent 1.5 hrs trying to get the main connector unhooked. Is there another way to bypass the connector, IE a relay or something. I can get my hand on it but not enough to squeeze and pull

I know 2 of the wires go to the speed sensors but the rest of them do they go to the pcm

Well check this out. When i left work last night I pulled over on a down hill section of the road & i put the car in P. I then pulled the shifter down to what would normally be D, & I started to move. I got the car up to speed and @ 40mph my rpm was 1600. So at the next stop light i started out in 2nd and shifted to 3rd. I was @ 2000 rpm @ 30mph. So i realized tha car was in OD b4. So i drove about another block and i shifted from 3rd to 4th and the car did shift to my surprise. So at the next light I put the car in low and went through all the gears and it shifted fine. I dont know what happened to make it shift into 4th but as is well for now. I will keep a close eye on the situation. I want to thank you performabuilt for all you responses. Im sure I will need something in the future for my tranny and I will give you guys my buisness first. Thanks again

Steve
