Looking at a used Vigilante 4200 single clutch, lock up converter. Is this going to be a problem with my setup?

Re: 4200 Stall. Good fit for my car?
We've seen way too many Vigilante failures in the past few years. Their quality is nowhere near what it used to be. Besides, buying a used converter is never a good idea. There's no way to adequately flush a converter to get all the trash out of it without cutting it apart. Also, 4200 stall is alot of stall if the car will ever be street driven. They generate alot of heat and they make normal driving feel like crap, becauase the converter is always under stall.

Thanks for the responce. I know they restall them once for free in the first two years, so I am wondering what they charge after that. The car has been to the track 4 times in eight years, so street drivability is the only factor I really am looking for. The converter looks new and the seller claims it has 500 miles on it. I have seen so many that are trashed and never a used that looks brand new, so maybe it is true.
