4.10's won't fit with Torsen posi?

I have a set of GM motive 4.10's I want to install, but I've heard that 4.10's won't fit with the SLP take-off Zexel/Tosen posi that is in my car. Any truth to that?

With the 4.10s the block that retains the axels so the c-clips don't fall off won't slide in because the ring gear is too tall. You can buy a set of paddles from them (SLP) for like $125 which slides in as two halves. You could also not get ripped of by them and cut your block directly in half like I did. Make sure you leave half of the eye on each side so the retaining bolt can hold both halves in place. It took me about 15 minutes with a hack saw. Then I slipped one half in place and then the other. It has worked fine for a long time now and I saved the $125 for more useful parts.
