4.10 in a a4

anyone have one can you tell me rpms at 70ish and other expericences how fun is it track times anything you would like im thinking bout it but need to be convinced

You need to be unconvinced. Stock internal LT1 with stock rev limiters don't need to be buzzing that high. Your powerband is too narrow. You'll run out of steam too fast and drive yourself nuts. I wouldn't go any higher than a 3.73.

Yeah, I like my 3.73s at the track and on the street. It turns around 2600rpm at 70mph. The 4.10s'll get you up around 3000rpm.

You'll have folks tell you 4.10-11's in A4's is the only way to go. But its also the only way to lose all hope of traction, gas mileage, and low drivetrain wear. I'd say do 3.73 if you have the traction to support it. What gears do you have now, and to save you the trouble, can you select 1st or second on your shifter?

when you brake torque, your wheels dont spin till ~2800-3000rpm

3.73s or 4.10s with a 3000+ stall will probably have trouble hooking on drag radials if youre making any kind of power lol

4:10's in a a4? no way dude HIGHEST i would go is 3:73's go 4:10's if you plan to Serrious race car and are only gonna take the car to the track or do smokey *** burnouts
