4.10 or 4.56 gears

I am building my camaro and need to get gears ordered.. Have a full cam set up cc306 with ported heads etc... Running a 6spd manual trans.. Looking for people who have ran these gear to get opinion.. I am going for street/ strip but more strip

4.56's may limit trap speeds in 4th gear, depending on the engine redline and the tire diameter.

Do you have the stock 10 bolt rear end? If you do, I wouldn't go with the 4.56 gear because of strength problems with the tiny pinion gear and heat buildup. Matter of fact, the 4.10 won't last all that long, either.

Yes stock rear end you don't think 4.10 will even last thats disappointing to hear...

Well the 7.5 rear ends are weak and they are hard to build to be strong because you spend enough that the bigger rear end wasn't that much more, and they still have weak points after you blow a grand on them, which isn't hard to do, especially if you have to pay someone to do the work. The built 6 speed cars seem to break the gears pretty often, especially if they hook. If you have poor traction, then it will probably live longer because the shock strain on it is less. There are endless posts on this.
