3RD Gen rearend-to a 4th Gen car

I have always had a 3rg Gen...Now i came across a good deal on a 94 Z28. I have a moser 9" in my 92 Z28. I want to install it in my new toy. I have heard the 94 rear end is 2" wider on each side than a 92 rearend. I have Weld Pro Stars 15x8(4.5bs) will they look nice or to close to the inner fender or be the oppsite? What backspacing in used for a 15x8 and 15x10's for a stock 4Gen rear end.

Thanks

Re: 3RD Gen rearend-to a 4th Gen car

The overall width of the 4th Gen rear axle assembly is 3" larger than the 3rd Gen, or 1.5" per side. I run 15x10 7.5"BS Weld-Pro-Stars. Click on "Trailer Queen...." to see how they fit. For a 15x8 wheel on a stock 4th Gen rear you would use a 5.5" to a 6.5" BS. If you put your 4.5" BS wheels, and a rear that is 1.5" narrower on each side, it would seem that you would be right in the middle of the correct range.
