Did some more reasearch and found the flywheel I need. It is a McLeod Part # 460-370-2c. Summit sells them for $410.99!!!! McLeod is alot more at about $525.00!!!! Is there another company out there that make 1 a little cheaper or do I have to bit the bullet and spend $410.00?

Thanks
matt

Matt, I ran into this same problem. the 2 piece seal crank has a different bolt spacing for the flywheel than the 1 piece. You need a flywheel with the correct bolt spacing. If your rotating assy was balanced, you will need a 0 balance flywheel. I called summit and told them I had a balanced 2 piece rear main crank and an LT1 style T56 and they hooked me up with a centerforce flywheel that was like 300-something bucks.....33 pounds the thing weighs. I wish I still had the part number, dude.

well I called summit and they offer the centerforce flywheel # 700102 for $276.95 It weights 29.9 lbs and the clutch bolt is a 5 bolt pattern measuring from bolt hole to bolt hole across the flywheel 10 inches. Will this work? If so I found a company near my house that sells it for 251.97 But I would like to order it today. PLease help me out here...It is also 153 teeth.

thanks

I looked at CF's catalog. The 700102 should fit. It has the external balance weight. I forgot if you said your motor is internally balanced or not. If it is not internally balanced, and is balanced against a "standard" 400 counterweight there should be no balancing issues. If it has been internally balanced, the weight will need to be removed from the flywheel, and for perfect balance they flywheel should then be checked for neutral balance.

Good luck.

Re: 383 flywheel???

He probably ordered a stroker kit and it came with the crank, or he used a SCAT crank....

Re: 383 flywheel???

Contact Centerforce they make a flywheel which has the 2 pc crank flange bolt pattern with the LT1 style face to accomodate the pull off style clutch.
PN 700107 I have one new in the box.
