Is the 3800 V6 A4 tranny compatible to LT1?

Ok, here is my question, I searched and couldn't really find a good answer to this. I have a '97 LT1 A4 with about 88k miles. The other day we had a totalled out Camaro come in to the bodyshop. It was a 99+ 3800 V6 A4 with about 50k miles. We also have a 93 or 94 M6 LT1 with about 123k miles.

So would the A4 (I'm guessing its a 4L60E as well, right?) from the totalled Camaro be the same as the one in my LT1 and just come out of that one and bolt into mine? Or is it completely different tranny or just not built to handle the V-8? Also I could possibly switch to the M6 out of the other Camaro, but it would be a lot more work and money, though it would probably make my car helluva lot more fun.

My likely goal though would be just to do the A4 swap and once I have finished saving some money, ship my current tranny to CPT and have a massive rebuild done. So what do ya'll think, am I SOL or would that A4 to A4 swapout work?

A4 won't fit, M6 will with a few wiring changes. The A4 to M6 swap isn't really all that bad. The worst part of it for me was working under the dash.
