3.73s? Gonna throw me in the seat?

I am thinking about ordering some 3.73s for my A4. Will I get that feeling of being thrown back as opposed to my 2.73s? I love that feeling of torque. What should I order anyways? Any recommendations? Thanks guys and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

2.73's --> 3.73's.... It's gonna be one heck of a step up. I'm getting some 3.73's soon to replace my 3.08's. I'm going to get the Thunder Racing Gear package for $400. It comes with everything you need plus a nice T/A cover Anyway here are the parts you'll want to order:

-Gears
-Install Kit
-May want a solid pinion spacer..if you'll be making a lot of power
-I don't know if the install kit comes with a cover gasket or not?

I think that should do it. Installing the gears yourself?

personally id go with a TC...it would be about the same price and would gain you .4-.6 tenths in the 1/4 compared to .1 or so with gears...JMO and it will definitly plant you in your seat.

I went from 2.73's to 3.42's and did an Eaton Posi all at the same time. It was a GREATLY perceived improvement. I don't know how it affected my time, but it sure did make it feel faster.

That's been several years ago, but I can still remember the feeling I had the first time I layed the throttle down. It was "mustangs you better look out".
