3.73 gears in LS1 Torsen or SLP Auburn diff

Hi,

I purchase a set of GM 3.73 gears for my 95 Trans Am a while back.

I haven't installed them yet, and now I'm considering getting an LS1 SS.

My question is...will my 3.73 gears work in the 99-02 Torsen diffs, and also will it work with the Auburn diff that was optional from SLP on the LS1 SS/Firehawk?

Thanks,
Rob

Yes, might need a spacer though.

It would depend on the carrier thats in the car your getting. Do those 3.73's fit a 2 series carrier or a 3 series carrier? If you got the 3.73's to fit on a 2 series carrier and the LS1 you get has a 3 series carrier already, they wont fit. If the 3.73's you got are meant for a 3 series carrier, there shouldn't be a problem, you'd just need a spacer to make'em work on a 2 series carrier.
