3:73 gear and shift points

I recently put a 3:73 gear in my 01 z28 a4 and i used the hypertech programer to change the speedo and shift points.I cannot get the shift points right no matter how many times i change it.I doesnt gear down when you smash the gas like it should and it changes gears way to fast.Does any one have any suggestions to help me i am geting very pissed at this.

Try changing just the rear end ratio in the programer. I am not familair with the Hyprtech, except to say I am generally not too impressed. The 4L60E I have done is with LT1_Edit, Tunercat, and the like.

agree'd the Hypertech is a handheld waste of money, have it tuned by a professional mail order tuner or a dyno
