I already have a set of 3:42's from a previous car I had. I was wondering if I would really benefit from putting them in or should I just wait and get 3:73's? I know people say 3:73's for autos but figured since I had the gears already then why not, it won't cost me that much to get them installed. For now I plan on just doing long tubes, 3000ish stall, gears, and nitrous.

I would just put the 3:42's in, unless you plan to do alot of drag racing or something. I have 3:42's in my car and it's plenty low for racing but holds up well as a daily driver.
