3.42 or 3.73??

3.42 or 3.73??

95 Z28 A4. right now im sure it has the stock 2.73's in it. would i be better going with 3.42 or 3.73 gears? its my daily driver and i dont want to be spinning 8k rpm's in overdrive going down the highway. but i also want to wake it up some. any advice? thanks.

GM 3.23s or 3.42s, and an Alburn pro limited slip differential will wake up the car!

However, I would first concentrate on getting as much power that you have now to the ground by upgrading the suspension.

Yep, Unless in bumper to bumper traffic watching the fuel gauge drop to empty.

I didn't notice a fuel mileage change from 3.23's to 3.73's. I understand it may be more if you had 2.73's

See its that bumper to bumper crap that would eat me up in gas. Which is why i asked. Thanks for the advice though.

whats up hay if you want to go with the 3:42 i have a used set out of my 96 they have about 60,000 miles and are in good condition i changed to 4:10s u will need a instalation kit though let me know
