3.08 to 3.73 will this effect abc brakes

the rear in my 1999 camaro auto with overdrive went bad I want to change to 3.73 but someone told me that my speedometer will be off and also the abc brakes may be effected. does anyone know about this

Yes the speedometer will be off. It will show a couple mph faster than what you are actually going.

okay if the speedometer is off, can I have it reprogramed to work properly with the new gears? Also will it effect the anti-lock brakes?

Yes you can have it reprogrammed to the gear size so the speedometer is correct.
