you will be fine i had a 2500 on a 2.73 you just get more out of your stall with more gear.

He doesn't know what he's talking about. A 2800 is not that big of a stall and will drive similar to stock at part throttle if you get a good converter. Its going to be one of my next mods and I have 3.23s also. Unless you're going to be doing hard launches on slicks the rear end will be fine. Just make sure you get a tranny cooler first.

3.23 gears and a 3200 stall go well together. I'm personally doing around a 3600 and probably 4.10 gears.

I have a 3200 stall with stock 3.23's and they work great together. I have no problems with the rear end with that stall Mt Et Streets. This winter I'm installing my 3.73's.

With the 94 OBD I does have issues with stalls over 3000. You might wanna get that tuned out too.

guy is full of it.
im running a 3200 with stock 3.23's. i think they are a great combo for the street. but at the track, some more gear would really compliment it.

I wouldn't take that guys word for it, you will probably be unhappy with anything under 2800+

I have a 2800 with 3.23's right now. It was night and day compared to before A goal for my car is 3.73's but by no means do you need 3.73s to feel the benefits of the stall.
Best way I can describe getting a stall: You roll out of the shop, your doing a slow roll and just punch it... A huge grin is guranteed to come across your face

If this guy is this dumb i would not let him do your tranny!

Contact someone like CPT (vendor on here) and get a race trans.

AND DONT FORGET THE TRANS COOLER
