2500 stall ?

I have a 94 Z28 and have the opportunity to purchase a used 2500 stall for a reasonable price. How much would this improve my launch and how would it affect the overall drivability/mialage/highway operation ?

It's my suggestion that you not buy a used converter. A good new 2500 stall is only $300
