This should actually go into the parts wanted forum, but I am gonna piggy back my Tranny Cooler question onto it anyway.

First let me say that your stock cooler inst big enough. I am basing this by the tiny little cooler I have in my car. If it is the same then no you need something bigger and better.

Im getting a Fuddle 3K stall and was wondering what size (diminsion, and GVW) I should get. My friend is using a 20,000 GVW cooler, but I wasnt sure if that was over kill or not. I am ordering today so a quick response is much appreciated.

Fuddle and Edge are two of the cheaper alternatives on the market. You can even step it up a bit in stall sizing and not suffer a sacrifice in street manners.

The offerings from B&M that are rated at the 24,000 GVW as linked here are popular: http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=4&pcid=175 Not to long ago, Frank from CPT (12SCNDZ) suggested a tranny cooler to me, I cannot remember the brand off hand, but it wouldn't hurt to PM him and get his take on the matter.

You buy them factory direct. Some people say a tranny cooler isn't necessary until you get to higher stall ratios such as 2800+ or above. Me personally, I would run one anytime a higher stall converter goes in. Whoever you purchase your converter from can give you their take on it as well.

Get at least a 2800, not worth it otherwise.

Yeah 3000s will work well even in a stock applications. Drivability shouldnt be adversly affected. Edge and Fuddle are excelt budget stalls, if you dont plant to mod much. If you have big plans and HP hopes then go Vig, or Yank.

B&M makes a "one size fits all" converter same for TCI. The above mentioned companies taylor make your converter for your car, and your plans. Fuddle has excellent customer service, and are very helpful. They and Edge both stand behind there products 100%.
