arctic white 94

My car is a 94 3.4 v6.Why is the first gear blocked in the v6s. i read in another forum that it was because of noise pollution on the lt1 but why is it on yhe v6.Does it have anything to do with the rear ratio.any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the help.But does anyone on here have an automatic 94 v6 camaro that has this issue with there shifter.Someone please help me,your help will be appreciated.
