1995 Formula piñon seal leaking

Hello all,
I still have my 1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula and have owned it since 1997. This year noticed my rear axle piñon seal is leaking. I’m planning on fixing it myself, but getting confused on the correct part# to replace the seal. Also which brand is the best.
Also if I’m replacing the piñon seal is there a bearing I should be replacing at the same time?

thanks in advance

Brand doesn’t really matter but National or Timken part number 8610. As for other parts I can’t think of any unless there is an issue. Fresh gear lube and friction modifier?

^^^ that and a very slight coating of RTV on the splines of the yoke and pinion. Gear lube will seep thru the splines as there's no seal there. And check vent tube on upper area of rear end to verify it's open, if it's blocked slight pressure during heat build-up will cause seepage at places.
