Can anyone decode these transmission numbers for me 7chd255h .I just bought this for my 1994 z28 and trans has 12 pins for the plug the one I bought has 13 pins they said it cam out of a 1994 z28 .will it work or do I need to take it back ?

I sent you went over to ltxtech to get your answer. Frank Cahall is the best source of tranny info. He used to post here, but doesn't seem to come here much any more.

 

Yes they was a lot of help . The transmission I bought wouldn't work it was out of a 1997 van that some put in the 1994 z28 so I took it back and got my money back on it .so I'll be making a 9 hour round trip to alabama to buy one from transaM creations but thanks for the ltxtech link and all the help
