1994 4L60E into a 1996

This is the second tranmission swap I am doing. My buddy has a stock 1996 Trans Am that only has 1st and 2nd and wants to buy my stock 4L60E from my 1994 Z28. Should there be any problem with the swap or is it straight forward?

Do I have to do a shift kit to make the PWM compatible? Thanks.

I would think it applies to F-bodies as well

Well I spoke to Dana from Pro Built and he seemed to think it wouldnt be much of a problem. Possibly swaping the tailshaft and something about the PWM being disabled. It was a long phone convo so I cant remember everything, but what I do remember is that it was do-able.

Thats good info, thanks for the link.
