1993 M6-Any problems?

Since it looks like my tranny went to hell in a handbag, im lookin around for a new one. One guy has one for sale with the right price and mileage, but is from a 1993.

Are these just as good as any other year? I have heard people say they had problems, but no specifics. I know they have alittle bit different gearing. I dont plan on makin a 700 HP monster or anything, maybe 425 RWHP sometime in the future. Would one of these do everything i want it to?

There are two different M6 trannies available in a 93. The M28 came in car with 2.73 rearend gear while the M29 came in cars with 3.23 gear. I currently have an M28 which is suppose to be the weaker of the two and am putting down over 700 rwhp through the tranny. The only thing done to the tranny is the McLeod Street Twin with Steel Flywheel. Everything internally is stock.
