i have a 1993 z28 with the 4L60 automatic tranny... i just did the M6 swap

my speedo doesn't work now, what do i need to do in order for it to work?

the 6speed came out of a 1997 Z28

 

You need to cut and splice a Vehicle speed sensor to the tranny. Thats why your speedo isnt working. Mines isnt working either b/c I havent spliced mine yet. BTW that pig tail is like 40 bucks.

is there a writeup on how to perform this?

 

you will also need your prom burned for the new trans, the auto trans have 40 pulses per revolution of the drive shaft, the manual trans have 17 pulses

 

and this leads to another problem

after sitting for nearly a year and doing the conversion

my car has developed a miss... the idle surges and doesn't act right, i have a COMPLETE loss of power, like its missing 100 horse

could this be because of the tuning... i had this done by PCMforLESS
the car is running pig rich now also
