12 bolt questions... need help ASAP

Hey guys,
I just got my 12 bolt in and it was from another member. It is brand new, but has 4ch abs, while my car has 3 ch abs. Im just going to ditch the ABS all together. My questions are...
There is no hole for the T-block for the brakes to split off... What do I need to do for that? drill a new hole and tap it or what?
Also there are rings with teeth, look like a gear on the end of the axle, those are the exciter rings am I correct?
Can I just take those off, or will that mess with the length of the axles into the posi unit?

Does anyone have an install guide with actual pics or anything?
Thanks a bunch!
Zach

Drill your own hole.

I wouldn't worry about the rotating mass of those aluminum ring. Not worth the hassle of removing them.

I'm thinking that hole is for a breather. Are you sure your stocker didn't have one? You need to buy a pipe thread to hose adapter and then run hose up and back down in a J shape. Yeah it sucks that for the price of a moser they don't include the 'lil stuff' for installation.

the only reason i am wanting to get the exciter rings off is because they are in the way of changing out the studs...
