At the risk of pointing out the obvious, you'll need new lug nuts that match the threads.

lol yeah I guessed that...

I just figured I would have to drill my hub and or brakes to go from 12 mm up to a half inch. Or replace them with brakes that were meant for half inch studs?

maybe im wrong?

Any help appreciated

Are your 1/2" wheel studs splined? If so, drilling half inch holes in the front hubs isn't going to work. There won't be any clearance issues with the brakes front or back. You'll likely need to run open end lug nuts. An easier option for the front may be to upgrade to ARP fasteners in the stock thread size.

I was under the impression that I needed half inch studs for the prostars to fit? Or will they fit fine with 12 mm extended length studs?

Pro-Stars work fine with 12mm studs. Weld makes the correct shank style lugs in both 1/2"-20 and 12mm-1.5 threads. I have 12mm in the front (2.67" replacements, stock knurl, no drilling), and 1/2" in the back (3.00" threaded into Strange axles).

The brake rotors have large holes in them for the studs, so that is not a problem. There are photos in the FAQ on the Wheels and Tire forum showing the rear brake rotors fitting over the 1/2 studs, and at the bottom of the post there is the Weld part # for the correct 12mm-1.5 lugs.

somewhat off topic but not really, whats the point of the longer studs in the back?

Some of the drag style wheels are thicker requiring long studs. Also tech inspection at some drag strips want to see the studs protruding from open style lugs nuts to ensure you have enough thread engagement. The lug nut needs to thread on at least as much as the diameter of the stud.
