^^Selecting A Shift Kit^^

Hey guys, I was thinking of picking up a shift kit for my 1990 Iroc, and I was wondering what kits you guys picked up, and what experiences you had. I was looking at the B&M Shift Improver Kit for 32$ (Jegs: 130-70239), B&M Transpack for 62$ (Jegs: 130-70235), or the TCI Valve Body Improver Kit for 37$. (Jegs: 890-376500)

Is there really a difference from B&Ms 32$ kit and the 62$ kit?

If you want to install the kit that will do the most for you, then install the "modified" Trans-Go Performance Shift kit. If you have some questions about them, feel free to ask?

What do you mean when you say "modified"? I noticed that the Trans Go kits are popular on ebay. Do you have a part number for me?

I modify the kit to fit your particular needs, such as which torque converter you are using, the type of driving you do, what rear end gear ratio you are using, etc.

What does the Trans Go kit have that the others dont? It's kind of pricey compared to the others.

It comes with adjustable firmness (accumulation) for the 1-2 shift. Has a larger main & intermediate boost valve, for more band/clutch holding power. The ability to hold any gear to any rpm. Improved seals for the Corvette style servo (Viton "D" rings). Faster 3-2 downshifts. Eliminates the PWM, so the torque converter clutch will live longer, etc.

Interesting...now, I have one more question. I found a kit from Transgo on Ebay from a guy who owns a transmission shop. The kit is 46$ and resembles the one on summit for 140$. Can you just verify for me that this is the same kit?
