Z28 vs. Inifiniti G35
Z28 vs. Inifiniti G35
Me = 1997 Z28 Auto 133,000 miles Borla exhuast, G2 intake, K & N air filter, new spark plugs
Him = 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6-Speed 25,000 miles Stock except he complete took of his muffler, so he just has the raw exhaust....
who would win in a 1/4 mile?
On the highway at night with little traffic?

Re: Z28 vs. Inifiniti G35
I think its close enough to call it a drivers race. It will depend to a large extent how well maintained your z28 is. Ive seen LT1's that have been treated like crap and run accordingly at that mileage, while others (like mine! heheh) seem to do ok despite being over 100k on the clock
Re: Z28 vs. Inifiniti G35
I've killed a G35 from a roll and a dig on the street with ease. He may not know how to drive, but he was definitely trying. His gf was with him and she gave me that smile when he turned off. Depends on the driver, IMO.
Re: Z28 vs. Inifiniti G35
I say you will walk him, I have raced 350 Z's which are rated a little better than the G35 and I walked him on the freeway and from a dead stop at a light. If you have a six speed its up to your skill as in any race.
Re: Z28 vs. Inifiniti G35
Put some EFI cleaner in the tank and drive until it's empty. It will really help trust me I've done it. You'll eat him alive. With the miles on the car you need the EFI cleaner.
