Kindof an odd question, but in all my times at the track I haven't seen one minivan. I see lots of pickup trucks though. I ask because two of my friends have minivans, so I jokingly said they should drag race down at the speedway, and now they are serious about it! They're like "It's on, biatch!". lmao.

I think this would be funny as hell to see, I would make sure to videotape it. SO what do you think, will they let my friends race, or is there a "no minivan" policy? I don't see why they wouldn't be allowed, I'm just assuming I've never seen a minivan down there because people are too embarrassed to race them.

My friend took his Honda Odyssey to the track. He ran a 17.3. They tried to put 5 people in it but they wouldnt let him, only allowed 1 passanger. Also he wore a helmet, it was funny as hell.

 

I've seen 20 second passes in a VW Beetle at Gateway before. Just this past wednesday at Gateway, they let a rusted out redneck truck run and it through mud and dirt all over the track. There was about a 30-45 minute delay while they cleaned the track. They'll let you run anything there, they are complete idiots.
