what would you say is wrong? help

ok last year i ran a 14.2 with a 2.2 60ft at like 92mph.
i just got back from track. (my times were getting better i started today with a whoping 14.3! but since last year i added a 3000 stall, bbk ceramic shortys, off road pipe and bfg dr's) ok so today my best was 14.18 with a 1.921 60ft at 95.85 mph. the 1/8 was 8.825 .my 60 is good but where is the top end. soon i wont have to worry because next year my new motor will be done. but i would like to find out whats wrong now
also i think i was going to hit high 13's my launching was not good at first. but was getting better then i snapped my throttle cable and pushed it off track stuck pennys it the tb and drove 30mph home

well i dont think i will change the opti this late in the year. aslong as it makes it. my new motor is a 95 with the vented one so no sence in buying one for this block.
