I've got a 95 TA with cat-back, Stage 3 Clutch, cut open air box, 1LE elbow, TB airfoil and bypass. What kind of times should I run with street tires on 1/8mi and 1/4 mi? I've done a run on 1/8th and had best run of
2.30 - 60'
6.19 - 330'
9.30 - 1/8
79.35 mph
I ended up realizing later that my runs were done with a chewed up differential (3 teeth were broken on diff) Is this time normal, what should I run 1/4mi?

 

Anyone with some input?

 

Converted, an average car with those eighth mile times would run:

2.30 - 60'
6.19 - 330'
9.30 - 1/8
79.35 mph
14.26 @ 99.83 mph

 

So my car should be running faster than I actually ran, right? I did have a bad diff for those runs. Shouldn't my car be able to run 13's with better driving?

 

Well the 60' is kinda bad,so you MIGHT be able to hit 13's.
All depends on elevation,driving,traction,weather etc.

 

What would you suggest for next mod to put me in 13's 1/4 and 8's on 1/8? I'm getting alumin driveshaft by next week (if I can find a used one) I considered underdrive pulley as next mod, then either 1.6 RR and HD valve spgs, Ram Air kit, or longtube headers and no cats or cutout. Would 3.73 gears help?
