what should i run in the 1/4 mile
Re: what should i run in the 1/4 mile
Lots of factors. I have never ran the times I wanted at Noble. And if you have never raced at the track before, it takes some experience, even with an auto.
Street tires area a pain. No way around it. I am stuck in the 12s because of street tires. When I was stock though I ran my fair share of @ 14.5s.
Like it was mentioned above, you don't have any real power adding mods. Throw some sticky tires on there and see what happens.

I noticed you said if the car runs 14's the for sale sign is going in the window....Throw that mentalitly back out the window that the sign would be filling.Going to the track for the first time should be more of a learning experiance than trying to nail down a 13 second pass in your first day.I've seen a guy/kid(dont know his age but he sure acted like a kid) pull up in a corvette C5 and run a 14.5.He rolled up to the line thinking he was going to be the fastest thing out there. He learned very quickly that there is a technique to launching, timing the light right and shifting...and that was just in his first pass.

KRS said it. i was hoping to do a 13.6 at very least and here my *** cant even pull a 13.9 out.lol. you have to be open minded when you start racing and get the experience. ive learned so much from just going to the track 2 times and actually racing. i have maybe 12 passes in 2 different cars under my belt and i still have a ton of learning to do. just make it fun and biggest thing is always dont break anything cause that sucks.haha
