What do you guys think???

Hey Guys.... I asked this in the LT1 section but it may get more of the answers I am looking for in here as some of it is ET concerns...

I ran a 13.8 @ 99.1 on DR's with a horrid 2.1 60 foot last weekend. That is with the following mods

Hooker Shorties, Ram air hood and box, 3 inch y pipe, 3 inch hiflo cat, 3 inch flowmaster w/ cutout open, 3200 midwest stall and shift kit. It dynoed 270 rwhp and 350rwtq.

Last time I ran 14.2 @102 with 2.4 60's........ I got a 1.9 60 on the DR's my first pass out but I am still trying to figure the converter and DR's out. I only made three passes so I am not sure if the converter likes to leave offf idle or be pre-flashed. And I didnt do good enough burnouts to heat up the brand new DR's. My buddies were laughing at my weak sauce Burnouts . I am thinking that even if I cut that 13.8 with the 2.1 60 foot down to a 2.1 60 foot then I may run a mid 13 which seems low for my mods.. What do you guys think?????

I also had just went back from an aftermarket to stock maf so does it have to relearn stock tables to run 100% ?

Whats you car wiegh in at with you driving. Is it extremely heavy. Full tank of gas, packed for a long vacation, with 3 passengers?

My Gramps truck wieghs 3270 with me in it, 3.73 gear with 26" ET Street. Dynoed at 285rwhp, 350rwtq on a 90 degree day with 90% humidity.

Well anyway his ran a 12.82@107 on a hot day.

So I think you should be about that fast. Even with a 99mph trap you should pull 1.7-1.8 60's with a good gear and some stick tires. I would think you would be runnin high 12's with that power pullin 1.7 or better 60ft's.

Well I have seen people in magazines and what not run 12.999 with similiar mods but I am a realist so I figured some 13.2-13.4's sounded right. But I seem a ways off. I have a t-top car with SFC's and race at about 1/3 of a tank. I do also have a fiberglass hood so that may counter a little of the sfc weight but I am sure overall my car is on the heavy side.

N E 1 else???
