what do u all think of this setup?

alright here we go......

v6 (98-02) camaro shocks/struts
removed front bumper support/fog lights,ect
LCA's
rear v6 springs
competition engenering adj. shocks
M/T ET drags
removed front sway bar
no spare/jack
no rear seats
no pass seat
skinnies

what do u all think. i am trying to get the front wheels (left) off the ground this year. i was damn close last year with a stick on a 1.910 60'

anyway, does this sound like a good setup? what would be the advantage of airbags in the rear? how much do they cost/where do i get them?

is battery relocation worth the $

is it possible to remove the airbags in the dash? how much do they weigh? anyone done it?

basically, i want to lose a few tenths this year without doing heads, so i need some suspension. i was only pulling 1.85's on ****ty drag radials earlier this year (in hot weather and on stock susupension), so im hoping that with some 50 degree weather, some 1.7 60's that i will see some 12.3's this year!!!!

All the little stuff adds up quick, keep everything you take off and weigh it all in the end and youll probably be surprised. If its not a street car (my guess being you removed the front support) You can take out the rear support also. I would go ahead and remove the a/c and associated items (maybe over the winter) including evaporator and all interior ductwork. The pass airbag is worth the removal and its not very hard to do. The drivers youll have to replace the entire wheel of course so find a replacement you like. You also can remove the sound deading material that is under the carpet, radio and speakers, replace the front seats with race buckets, get tubular front end components like a-arms and k-member, go to manual rack, get some lightweight wheels for the back as well as the skinnies.

Also let me touch on the bumper support, my buddy removed his and made a tubular replacement. Its light and will help with preventing the nose from caving in at high speeds, and keeps front frame rails tied together.
