Star Stage III Ceramic. Has not let me down; I'm very pleased with this clutch.

Past clutches:
- Stock. Stock + nitrous = major slipping
- LT4 PP, Clutchnet Kevlar/Organic disc. Held the power, slipped BADLY on launches.
- LT4 PP, Clutchnet Kevlar/Bronze disc. Slip....hell no. Very grabby and chattery, hard as hell to drive. Held until one day it decided to blow all the pucks apart in the waterbox.

IMO, the only two clutches to go w/ on a T-56 are either the Star Stage III's (or better) or the McLeod Street Twin.

I'd say that the satisfaction rate is the best with the Street Twin (what I have). Some people love the Specs, but then they blow up and they don't love them anymore Spec has also been known to release bad designs on the market (like their old 4-puck kevlar design) and while they have good customer service and will stand behind their product, I'd rather buy something proven, spend a little more and not worry about it. Changing a clutch is something I'd rather not do on an annual or even semi-annual basis...

I'm using a Centerforce pressure plate with a SPEC stage 4 ceramic disc. Holds nice, but chatters a little sometimes. Livable.

Don't waste your time and money on anything other than the Street Twin.

Thumbs up

Using a SPEC stage IV ceramic. Much to my supprise it is street friendly after you learn how to slip it. I would recomend the SPEC if you don't have the money for the street twin.

Twin disk here when i had a manual

Went through so many single disk designs it was not funny. Twin holds awesome just gotta worry about breaking other stuff then.
