V6 Rear Spring Part Number?

Does anyone know the part number for a 93-97 V6 Rear Spring?

Thanks!

I don't know if it is different from GM originally but when I called Autozone and Advanced Auto recently they are showing the same part # for V6 and V8 cars. Don't know if that helps you or not ...

Apparently GM has discontinued the V6 version of the spring and replaced it with the V8 version. These springs have 2 different spring rates. Looking more and more like I am going to have to go to the salvage yard.

Measure the diameter of the wire on your springs. Find a V6 car and measure the diameter of the wire. The V6 spring should have a smaller diameter spring wire which will have a smaller spring rate.

Pardon the stupid question but what is the point of v6 rear springs in a drag racing application?

the lower spring rate lets them sag a little more on your launch, giving you more traction

It's a bandaid for not having your suspension right. And it works well enough if you can't afford the $$$ for all the proper pieces.
But letting the car squat is NOT the best way to transfer weight to the rear tires.
