trying to decide on track/street tire

i am looking at the hoosier drag radial or the mt drag radial. it will only see the street for fun, never will be on the road in the rain. i am leaning towards the hoosier. anyone run the hoosier on the street yet? oh they will be 28's

I have the M/T streets and love them at the track and hook nice on the street, just make sure you watch the weather, I drove my car to a dragstrip and hour and a half away and had a pop up thunderstorm and made the drive home a bit interesting.

thanks for the input guys. AL SS590 M6 have you had a chance to get the hoosiers to the track yet or bet them up a little on the street? sounds like everyone loves the m/t setup.

Im sure the Hoosers will be equally as good as the MTs but people are just waiting for the proof to come in. AL SS590 is a good source for that and any information.

Maybe it's just me, but I think driving slicks on the street is nuts. Before I started to trailer the Camaro to the track (~60 miles) I would just put the slicks in the car and change them at the track. Not diffcult and I could really enjoy the ride back and forth.

Just waistful for one, but yeah since I keep them at low pressure they are all mushy on turns and they are not balanced so they are not smooth.
