Trying the BFG DR's Friday

I hope my new DR's are an improvement over the BFG Radial TA's. I'm gonna go to the Friday night drags and am shooting for a 12.7@106. I hope Bessy can do it!

The DR will definately be an improvement over street tires. The best way to get the DR to hook up is warm them them up really good. Start off with 18psi then work your way down to 15psi to see which one works better.

They do stick !!!!

Well, the new tires ran well, but not much improvement in ET. I got my 60' time from an average of 1.9 down to 1.78. My ET only went down from 12.91 to 12.89, but there was no fuss in launching. The trick was to heat the BFG's up so I saw a solid white cloud of tire smoke. I could then floor it from a dead stop! It was really quite a fun launch. I think my engine is now the weak link in my ET, so that's where my next $$$ will go.
