trap speed for lt1 over 300hp?
Posted this in track kill stories with not much help.. really curious where this car will stand when the track opens up.
I don't track often but what would a lt1 trap with a dyno of 311hp/329 ? Going when they open up, and since then I've added a computer tune and cutout. ________

Engine or RWHP?
Engine I would suspect somewhere around 99-105 on the high end depending on conditions/driver ability.
RWHP- probably closer to the 108-110 mark.
Your traps are likely to be more consistent than your times. When I was going to the track I would try different things, sometimes the times would vary upwards of .5 second, but the traps were all within 1-2 mph. To me- trap speed is a better indicator of a cars true power than the time. A crappy launch or poorly setup suspension can really hurt a car's time, but the trap speed will usually be fairly consistent all other things being equal.

Re: trap speed for lt1 over 300hp?
I trapped 103 with an estimated 280-290 rwhp.
That being said, there's tons of variables that aren't accounted for in the OP's post. Elevation, tires, etc. I'm guessing it'll be in the 106-108mph area but the best bet would be to take it out and find out.
