I'm working on a th350 with a hipster pro transbrake. Finally got it in the car and I have all gears. Reverse only works when the transbrake button is held (by design), but I'm not getting lock in first gear on the transbrake. I verified the manual valve phasing and believe it is correct. Does anyone have experience with this setup that could offer advise?

You need to check the voltage at the button for the t brake. Sometimes in my dads car we have to rev up the engine a little to engage the tbrake. So try puttin it in 1st hold the brake and stall it a litle then press the button to see what it does. Let us know whats up. Later

 

thanks for the tip. I'll be working on it again tonight, so I'll post what I find. I think the modulator valve phasing is off a little.

Got the brake to hold over 5000rpm several times. As soon as I put it in reverse and cycle it in reverse, it won't hold 3000rpm in low gear. Guess I'll have to call hipster tomorrow..
