Cool Trans Am times....want 9's!

I got my Trans Am out for a full throttle pass and the four runs consisted of a
1.576 1.557 1.504 1.528
4.451
6.821 6.689 6.627 6.698
104.23 105.32 105.06 104.46
8.852 8.709 8.653 8.735
10.562 10.412 10.369 10.452
131.77 132.64 130.03 131.48
This is a 12:1 oval port 468BBC with a Powerglide and a 4.11 gear in the back. I wasn't launching the car very high on the transbrake (3000rpms). I am gonna take the car back up this friday. I had trouble in the water box smoking the tires because the tires would grab and push my front tires eventhough they were locked. I am gonna do my burnout in 2nd gear. I really want to get into the 9's on motor before we spray the motor. What do you think I could get based on the info? What kind of 60's do i have to cut? Any suggestions? BTW it is tubed 4 link car on gasoline. I run at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove Wisconsin. Thanks!

You need to be asking this question on this board: www.gofastzone.com

Most of these members are street racers to drag racers and can give you advice to get your car running where it should be considering its a BBC and narrowed. The street cars on this site are running from 7.50's on up. Like I said street cars and there are a few 7 second street cars and many 8 second car's. There's a guy on the site that has a 88 GTA with a 442ci SBC that runs mid to high 8's and is not narrowed. Similare to yours.
