I dont' know about everyone elses cars, but on a hot day mine heats up real quick. If I turn on the AC, the cooling fans come on and my car cools down. It doesn't matter if I have it set on full cold or full hot, it cools the car down. For the ultimate cooling I can turn on the AC and put the temp on full hot. With that said, on a hot day if I turn on just the vent on full hot without the AC on the car will still heat up pretty bad. I know the AC being on will cause condensation to drip, that's why I turn it off before I put onto the track.

I also understand that the condensor heats up, that is why the cooling fans come on, to make up for this.

Does nobody's car act like mine or what??
