Track Times

I made the first trip with the car Saturday. The car has 3.73 gears, 58 mm TB, LT4 Hotcam, and 1.6 RR. The PCM is stock, havent even changed it for the gears so it hits the rev limiter before shifting. This was on street tires and the car spun a little. What would these times be in the 1/4 mile, 1/4 mile MPH. Do any of you know what the car should run if tuned and with a good converter and sticky tires. Thanks

First Pass: Second Pass:
60': 2.117 2.100
594': 8.368 8.410
1/8 ET: 8.931 8.980
1/8 mph: 79.92 78.93

Re: Track Times

I don't know if this helps but I ran a 8.957-1/8, when I ran my 13.930-1/4,but with the hotcam you would probably start gaining on the top end of the track so you would end up running faster than 13.9 and I'd say with a good tune and a converter you would see those times drop alot.

Re: Track Times

Get some headers first!!! Then a tune, higher stall, and you're looking at low 13s/high 12s easily on a good tire.

I ran a 8.76 at about 78.6 mph with the mods in my sig but with 2.73 gears and no tune. U for sure need to get that thing tuned and watch your times plummit.

Re: Track Times

I ran a 60' 2.01
1/8 9.0 @ 78
1/4 14.01 @ 99

That was before the tune.
