Track times @ Firebird Raceway

I have a 95 Z28 40K on motor, stock intake with resonator, magnaflow catback (Catless), stock y pipe and manifolds, tire pressure at ~35, launching at ~1500, with a B&M Shift plus turned off anywho here are my times...also this is my very FIRST time at a track I was impressed...

R/T: .232
60' : 2.082
330' : 5.936
1/8 : 9.102
MPH : 78.89
1000: 11.832
1/4 : 14.156
MPH : 97.37

I know I need 60' work but to remind everyone I am on stock rear suspension with new monroe shocks.

Put some sticky tires on the car for those crappy 60ft. times and your looking at high mid 13s.

I am runnin Fuzion ZRi's and those are nice tires... I do a little burnout and miss the water box and I get nice traction even at launch it's sweet so I'm just going to do rear suspension and then a cold air kit and air foil and see where I stand.

If your happy with 2.082 60ft. times I guess your not really all that concerned about your track times then, my mistake.

With a stock stall and street tires that is a pretty good 60ft.

Bowtiekid, good times. Looks like you can launch better than me. I went out about a month ago to Firebird and took my '96 Formula A4/3.23 and mustered a pitiful 14.8@94 with a stinky 2.38 60ft. Since then I have removed the dented Kmember( cat was banging and riding on the frame causing some serious KR), filled it with 91 octane, and regapped new plugs and hope to duplicate your times.

I have Fuzion ZRis up front and Kumhos out back. You think they are decent enough to swap them for a track night?

I don't know, but all I have to say is for being a street tire the Fuzions produce very good traction....I missed the water box (waterbox makes street tires seriously useless) then did a mild burnout a got incredible traction....
