tire pressure for stock

got a chance to add air the other day. i went from about 27psi all around to 35psi all around. took it out for a drive and WOW, it made a pretty big difference in traction. when i used to floor it off the line, the tires would squeal for over a second with a real deep sound. (so i would have to go 1/2 throttle then feather it to full) now, i can nearly floor it, and there's less than half the squealing with a much higher tone. i usually had 30psi all around, but i'm thinking more pressure is helping, since i have a vert and sub box in the trunk. i know the butt-o-meter isn't dependable, but i can't wait to get out to the track! what psi did any of you use when you were stock? oh yeah, i have salad shooters with kumho 235/55/16.

If you like drag racing, consider investing in a sticky set of tires. See if you can borrow a set from a friend to try. It really makes a big difference by allowing you to aggressively launch the car.
