Time slip hopes.
Time slip hopes.
I made my wish list for my wife and family.Tci Street Fighter, transgo,K&N cai to go with my car(95 Z A4 3.23s,flowmaster and 26x10.5 MTs)Anyone running this combo or close to it?What can I expect for a et and mph?
Re: Time slip hopes.
Its hard to guess your times without knowing altitude at least of your track. But ok..buddy has 94z with flowmaster,3.23 gears, air induction not sure what brand not k and n. He has borla ypipe ,aifoil, underdrive pullies ,tb bypass,160stat and thats about it. He has new et street radials. He ran 13.8 or so with 2.0 something sixty foots and think his mph was like 98 or 99mph.
He also took out spare tire, jack ,think back seat bottoms and think passenger seat and he weighs like 130 pounds.!!
Our track is at 1700 feet so think you can take a few tenths off and add a few mph for correction to sea level. I think with a good stall he could get a 13.3 or so. Stall usually gives 4 to 5 tenths. He bought 52 BBK tb off me and my electric cutout and should gain two or three tenths maybe from that.
For comparison sake my 96z vert at same track best was 14.3 with a 2.18 on nittos ,track was super slippery that day. Mph around 96mph. My mods at time were magnaflow catback,tb bypass,g2 induction, holley filter,airfoil,3.42 gear swap.
Since then have added spohn lower control arms and adjustable torque arm,
reloction brackets, kyb agx shocks, hotchkis springs, 2800 vig ,asp underdrive balancer and 58 tb. Our track is now closed though so can't find out what the car rus with the new mods till next year and may have pile more installed by next spring. Have zex wet,CC305,1.6 nsas..planning to buy kooks long tubes and some LE heads.
I think with my current mods with the stall my car would do a 13.8 or so.
Again thats at 1700 feet above sea level.
So not sure how much this helps but figure a good stall will take 4 to 5 tenths off your ets.
