I heard the quickest bone stock LS1 (absolutely nothing done) was a 12.9.
Anyone know who's car this is or was?

 

GMHTP drove a bone stock '99 Z28 (I believe) to a 12.89 @ 109.

A local guy here ran a 12.9 @ 107 in a stock '00 Z28.

 

In print 12.89 like posted above by GMHTP, I believe Evan Smith ran a 12.9 for MM&FF....Years back when the LS1 first came out some guy on LS1.com supposedly ran a 12.7@109 in a 98 6spd Formula.

 

crap, those are fast times. I was able to get a 13.1 last month.
I wonder if any of those guys tested during the winter months. I sure would like to break into the 12s before ever doing anything to the car.

 

Mine ran 14.1 @ 101 mph when it was brand new, maybe ~1500 miles on the clock!

...as you can see, the times have improved a little.

 

Theres auto LS1's that have ran 13.0's-1's bone stock....An 02 w/ 273's ran a 13.2 stock at Atco Raceway...What was your 60 on that 13.1 run?

 

my '02 Z has 7800 miles on it right now. Ran the car this past Oct-Nov, and ran a best of 13.1 @ 105, 60' 2.00. I was really impressed with it, with absolutely nothing done to it, and still on stock RSAs.

 

Quickest I've personally seen was a 12.98 out of a 98 Camaro SS in Gulfport, MS. I definately believe a few have gone a tenth or so quicker in showroom condition.

Local guy here got a 12.6x at 110 out of his stock '01 Formula hardtop A4.

 

We have a guy in our car club that runs consistant 13.1 to 13.2's with only drag slicks. Completely stock 02' WS6, M6. With street tires he runs best of 13.8. The tracks elevation here is about 3,700 feet. (el paso, tx)

I seen a buddies brother run a 12.9 in a 98' T/A A4 with about 110,000 mi on it, it was 100% stock i about s*it myself (no DR's) 18lbs pressure in rear tires.

couple of friends here have completely stock LS1's and run 12.8X-13.0X @ 106-109, two are 02's and one is an 00', another guy with an 01 and lca's and dr's is doing 12.5's at the same mph.

 

Comming from an auto car thats bordering unbelievable, even for a 6spd...Id love to see a slip

 

At our local track in Greer, S.C, autos are usually quicker at the trackthan the m6's... I have both and the auto hooks ALOT better launching. But my expieriences are on street tires. M6 cars (fairly stock) run from low 9's to high 8's, with most auto LS1's in the high to mid 8's... just my 2cents!

 

Quickest bone stock LS1 sure ain't me, but my LS1 has ran a best of 13.08@106.31 @NED w/a 60ft time of 2.036. Leaving room for twelves in cool autum air. Just bought a set of BFG's to hopefully insure bring'in home a twelve second slip. Car has 2,560 miles on it and is an a4. Just got it past february, some old guy traded it in. My license has been suspended so i have not been able to drive it in a while. Cant wait! time is clicking away.
