Do you have race tires? They will do far more than any suspension mods. Last year I ran a best of 1.53sec 60' times with a stiff road type suspension and a 26x11.5x16" ET Street.

What is your setup (including tires) now and what are your 60' times?

Tires are very important, but the stock lower control arms are the weakest link. You would do well by getting tubular LCA's with poly bushings and relocation brackets. You should also get an adjustable pan hard bar as well.

Since you have a street car forget the ET streets...pick up a set of drag tires...Nittos or BFG, that would be the first step...also forget the Adj. panhard bar...you'll only need that when you goto a wider tire, lets say a 315....but there are good to have in any case, just not that important.

As for the LCA's...that would be a good change, as well as a torque arm...something alot stiffer to keep the tires on the ground.

Then we get into gears...but then were getting into big dollars
