Switching out 2.73's, What will it do.

Anyone got ET slips that show what changing from a 2.73 to a 3.42 or 3.73 rear gear will do? I'm looking to find what just the gear change will do.
TIA

Is that WITH or WITHOUT drag radials or slicks?

I've got timeslips for my car w/2.73's and w/3.73's, and with 3.73's, the best 1/4 time is only .003 seconds quicker (oh, and 1 mph slower ).

Slicks would have helped my times tremendously though.....gears without tires are a waste of time.

Thanks, That's what I was hoping to hear. BTW you'll love the converter. I dropped 5 tenths with JUST a 3200 Vigi.

Yeah, that's what I was "hoping to hear" as well , but unless you have good tires (ie: Nittos, such as Rob has listed in his sig) then don't expect anything more than about ~.003 seconds faster!

Well you won't have any trouble selling it that's for sure. Did it shift okay for you? I know when I put my 3200 in it went into limp home mode! but I put in a TCI trans control and control the trans seperately from the PCM. For some reason our A4's don't seem to like the 3200. BTW I run either MT Sportsman Pros or BFG Drag Radials.
